How do I find out if my video card supports DIrectX 8 in 3D mode?

Assuming you have DirectX 8 installed, follow these steps:

1. Click Start and select Run.

2.Type dxdiag

3. Click OK or press Enter.

4. Go to the Display tab.

5. Click the Test Direc3D button.

6. Go through the test.  When it says, This test will use hardware-accelerated DirectX 8 interfaces, will be the test that determines if IsoEngine will be compatible with your video card.  If you see a spinning cube, it is.  If there is an error, then your video card is not compatible.
