The Shopping Cart is an e-commerce tool, which enables you to sell merchandise online. Customers can search, by category or name, for products and services. Then, they can put the items they select into their shopping cart to purchase.

Installing the Shopping Cart

1. Go to your Domain Manager.

2. Click on the Shopping Cart icon.

3. Click on the Install AlaCart button.
    The system will display the following message:

    "Install AlaCart
    Operation submitted to the server for processing
    The operation will be completed within the next 10 minutes"

4. Activate your Shopping Cart; Go to the following Web page:
    your_domain.com/s-cart/start.phtml

5. Set up your Username and Password by typing
    the information e-mailed to you when you opened your account.

6. Click on the button "Update Password."

7. Enter your Domain Name and Shopping Cart Path in the fields provided.

8. Click on the button Update Path.

Configuring your Shopping Cart

1. Once your Shopping Cart has been installed, go to your Control Panel.

2. Click on the Shopping Cart icon.

3. Click on the Setup AlaCart Configuration link.

4. At the next screen, enter a user name in the User Name field.

NOTE: This can be a new user name. It does not have to be the one from your Jumpline.com account.

5. Enter a password for this user in the New Password field.

6. Reenter your password in the Enter New Password Again field.

NOTE: If you make a mistake, click the Reset button and reenter your information.

7. Click the Update Password button.

8. At the next screen, enter your domain name in the Your Domain Name field.

NOTE: Do not include www with your domain name.

9. The default value for the Path to Shopping Cart field is s-cart. This is the location of the Shopping Cart program and all of its associated files. Unless you have a specific directory that you would rather use, we recommend that you keep the default value.

NOTE: If you make a mistake, click the Reset button and reenter your information.

10. Click the Update Path button.

11. A thank you message will appear.

NOTE: The Thank you message has two links, which you might want to write down or bookmark for future reference.
